Tony was very helpful with everything especially with next year’s visit she went the extra mile for us!

The Condo was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The appliances were all high end, and very convenient. We had a lovely time here. I loved the convenience to the beach, very close.

The condo is the nicest one we’ve stayed in for the 8 years we’ve come to Sanibel. There is an ocean view but it is limited. The lanai could be set up better for relaxing & looking outside. Kitchen was well appointed and beds extremely comfortable. Very quiet and private complex.

We loved Sanibel Surfside 224! It looked exactly like it did in the pictures and was spotless when we checked in. You have to go to SBL's office to pick up the keys (and drop them off when you leave) but the office is easy to find with Google Maps. Go to your right when you pull into the parking lot (it's in a little strip mall) and you'll see the SBL on the doors. Walked in, gave them my last name, and they handed me a packet with the keys and some brochures. The only thing I didn't see/know was how to get to the condo so I had to ask as instructions on getting to the condo weren't given. Like I said, it may have been on the packet but, if so, I didn't see it. The condo does have an ocean view and we had coffee on the enclosed balcony every morning watching the sky lighten up over the water. It was amazing! Beds were comfortable and every appliance/kitchen gadget you will probably need is there. There aren't any spices, condiments, etc., so if you're planning on cooking, you will need to bring or buy everything. We weren't planning on cooking so it didn't bother us. It's a short walk to the beach and, in our opinion, the best shelling on the island was there (better than Lighthouse and Bowman at least while we were there, didn't make it to Blind Pass). Turn left and walk down past the next set of condos - we found welks, olives, augers, Scotch bonnets,LOTS of Atlantic giant cockles, fighting conch, tulips, and more. Absolutely fabulous stay - great way to celebrate turning 60!

Thank you for all of your kind remarks and recommendations for better instructions on how to get to the condo, we can certainly make a note to start including that in the check-in packet! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Surfside. The condo is well appointed and very clean. The only issue with the unit is the master bath door. It is a pocket door that is sticky and squeaky. (Not a huge deal unless you don't want to wake up your partner in the middle of the night). My only other suggestion would be to replace the porch furniture with a love seat or additional outdoor furniture. That's just a personal preference, since we did not need the additional 'eat in' space. We rented bikes from the management company. My bike was not up to par, so it was replaced promptly. Overall, I would definitely recommend the condo for a small group (3-4 people).

Time away with family in the Florida sun. Within walking distance on the beach to my mother's timeshare. Beautiful accommodations. Grounds very well maintained. Condo was fully stocked, beautifully furnished and clean. Perfect!

Excellent in every way. The complex, Sanibel Surfside, is very well maintained and has everything one could want on a vacation either as a couple or a family with young children. It is also conveniently located on the island. Our unit was clean, well appointed, cheerfully decorated and we enjoyed our stay.
