Sanibel Surfside 115

This condo was even more lovely than the pictures reflect! We loved having a sweeping view of the Gulf from the living room and master bedroom, the reclining sofas were wonderful for relaxing, and the kitchen well stocked with all we needed. The beach chairs and towels provided were in great shape. The complex is in a perfect location. SBL Vacations were excellent hosts, attentive to our requests and needs. We rented bikes for the week from Billy's and rode all over the island. The birds were aplenty at the Bailey Tract, the Indigo path at Ding Darling, and in the kayak trail/creek from Tarpon Bay. We were so glad for this first trip back to Sanibel after the hurricane. The island is as beautiful as ever!

My husband and I loved our stayed at Surfside 115. We have stayed at this condo complex before, but not a beach front unit. It felt like you were always on the beach. The unit was decorated lovely and included washer and dryer in unit. Also provided were beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. It was a great trip as we enjoyed coffee and wine on the balcony, explored the island on bikes, and ate at some wonder restaurants. I write this review after Hurricane Ian destroyed the island. Our hearts break for everyone effected. We are praying for safe and quick recoveries to this beautiful paradise.

We loved the view and beach access from this unit. However, it was not very clean. Lots of fake plants that needed a good dusting! Carpets were pretty nasty but the view was amazing!

Barbara & Anthony, thank you for your feedback about Sanibel Surfside #115. We are so glad you enjoyed the view and beach access that this beautiful condo provided you, but we are very sorry that you didn't find the clean upon arrival. The owners have been long-time owners in our rental program and they are local which gives them the advantage of being able to come and see and update their properties whenever they want to. They have done a beautiful job making this condo feel like home for all renters and we do understand there are a few trinkets that may be unnecessary and collecting dust so we can certainly note that to the owners. Otherwise, as far as the carpets go, they will be completely replaced with LVP floors sometime later this year, keep a lookout for new pictures on our website once this is taken care of. We will definitely pass along the comment about the cleanliness to our housekeeping manager because we do set a very high standard of cleanliness and we are sorry you didn't get to experience that. Anyways, we hope you'll give us another chance and that we can help you plan a wonderful return vacation to Sanibel Island in the future!

Check in was easy; our room was actually ready a few hours early and they called to let us know that. Unit was very clean, amazing view, great beach access, covered parking was a great plus, storage room was well-stocked. Condo not stocked quite as well; some “starter products” were missing, like hand soap, which was hard to go without while traveling during current times. Kitchen could use some extra items as well. The ceiling fans on the lanai were not working when we got there, which I notified company of through the app, and they responded and sent someone out right away to fix it. It was resolved before I even came back off the beach that day! Gorgeous spot of beach; more shore than on a lot of other parts of Sanibel shoreline. Water crystal clear this year. Pool area easily accessible; grills were handy and used every single night by our families.
