Pointe Santo C42

We were pleased with this condo last year but this year was a great improvement because the roof area had been completed redone. Because of the rain showers some of our time was spent on the great balcony. We had every needed convenience except a can opener. The beach is wonderful & great for collecting shells. The sunsets were indescribable from the roof. Also, Sanibel Vacations is a wonderful group to work with. Since our travel expense is no longer affordable, along with the cost of the unit, we are sad to say we won't be returning next year. It is a truly enjoyable place and so convenient to all the great restaurants & shopping. We love Sanibel Island!

The location was great and the rental unit was in good condition. The beach in front of the building is an excellent shelling beach. The walking/bike path was across the street, and we used it to walk to restaurants that are about 1 mile away. The only issues were minor, like the fact that one side of the master bed didn't have access to an outlet.

We have stayed at Pointe Santo many times. We enjoyed this condo specifically. It was well appointed and felt very spacious. It was perfect for our needs. There was an issue with the dryer and Sanibel Vacations was attentive and communicated solutions. They continued to focus on the issue until resolution. They were great to work with. I would rent from Sanibel Vacations again due to their attentiveness.

Beautiful condo in superb condo resort location. Gorgeous views from rooms, lower patio, and roof deck. Far surpassed our highest expectations. If schedules allow, we will definitely rent this unit again and again.

Very nice condo with a roof top deck. Great location. Condo well equipped with beach chairs and toys. (Needs a hand held can opener in the kitchen.) Great place to stay!

We've been to Sanibel about a half dozen times in the past and this is now our favorite place to stay. On the beach, close to most restaurants, very comfortable and well-maintained accommodations. The pictures on-line faithfully represent the rental except for one thing: The weathered boards on the rooftop deck have been replaced and now it's even nicer than the picture.

My sons are in college, both with remote experiences this year. We decided to stay a week in Sanibel for a change of scenery since everything is online. The wifi was reliable, and they were able to do everything they needed. The location is convenient to the beach and walking/ biking trails. Between classes and school work, we would hang out at the beach, play in the ocean, or take the trail into town for shopping, dinner, or ice cream. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The condo property is well maintained. The rooftop deck is nice for looking at the stars or the ocean, but the furniture is not comfortable for extended hanging out. A lounge chair would be a nice addition. The view from both the patio and the rooftop deck is beautiful - you look right at the ocean. It was a wonderful and relaxing get away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We were fortunate to have perfect weather the whole week. We loved how big the condo is, the rooftop deck is a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunrise.

The property is well-maintained, very safe and close to restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for a week or longer. We ate breakfast and lunch at the condo but ate dinner out each night.

There were plenty of towels (beach and bath), I also really appreciated the bottle of disinfectant left for our use.

My only suggestions are the sheets could be replaced and there needs to be more real pillow cases instead of just the pillow covers, there are a lot of pillows but no real cases.

Had a great time. Love Point Santo. Found the unit very clean and well organized. Was surprised that there was not a mattress pad on the king bed. Also, there is no lock on the slider.

This unit needs serious updating. While the master bedroom bed is amazingly comfortable and the living room furniture is new, the bathrooms, appliances roof deck furniture etc need updated to be on par with other units we have rented at these prices. Also as noted in other reviews there is no lock on the sliding doors leading to the lanai and rooftop deck which is a security risk and left us uncomfortable when leaving the unit and during the night.

The property was in a nice spot on the island. I chose it for the rooftop sitting area which we never really used. The property was supposed to be smoke free however someone close by was smoking constantly throughout the week I could smell it in our unit. I found the unit quite dated and the condition could use a facelift for the price. We also experienced rowdy guests who where vulgar and obnoxious. Not my idea of a pleasant and relaxing experience. I would not return to this particular property however the office and maintenance staff was great.
