Loggerhead Cay 252

This is a nice unit with lots of extra's needed for your stay. Kitchen well stocked and beach towels and sand cart for bringing your things to the beach. This unit has a patio table and chairs on the lanai which we like and a drying rack in a closet for hanging wet towels etc. It has a very nice pool and lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas.
More restaurants opening as time goes on. Some favorites to us are Sanibel Grill, Doc Fords, Island Pizza and The Shack for ice cream and great hotdogs. Nice gas grill area to do your dinners.

The pool was very nice and the beach was full of wildlife. Our family really enjoyed the condo and it was full of amenities. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. Condo had a nice closet next door that had chairs/beach equipment, even a bike.

The island and the property are really wonderful this time of year. We enjoyed everything about Sanibel. We stayed for two weeks this year and are planning to stay for three weeks next year. The location of the condo at Loggerhead Cay is terrific. You have excellent access to the rest of the island via Middle Gulf Drive, but you are also right on the ocean. It is easy to exit the island via Lindgren Blvd. Sanibel has many excellent restaurant. The location of Loggerhead Cay is also perfect for walking the beach. You have several miles of uninterrupted beach in both directions. The condo has excellent bones, and there have been some recent upgrades. The bathrooms, the kitchen and the front bedroom are all in excellent condition. The patio furniture, the flooring and the living room furniture needs to be replaced. All in all, this is a good unit.

Home was in good shape, there were a few things we didn't like. The hot water wasn't on when we got to the condo. The shower doors don't close properly, seems like you're always struggling to keep them closed. The recliner was broken also, couldn't recline in it. Other than those minor things, we had a good experience.

Last year (2020) was our first trip to the island. We knew then that we would be back. We stayed in loggerhead cay last year as well. We did not stay in the same condo last year as this year. But, our stay was amazing. The condo was clean, inviting, and had plenty of extras. Would definitely stay here again.

The Loggerhead Cay complex is in a great location on the island. Well maintained, family friendly. The unit was updated, clean and comfortable. Couldn’t hear other tenants. This would be my first pick for a repeat visit.

We loved our condo in Loggerhead Cay. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful week. The grounds were also very well-maintained and pristine. Easy walk to the beautiful beach and we found amazing shells. The pool looked great but we were more interested in spending all of our time at the beach. We rented bikes and enjoyed the paths around Sanibel. Everyone we had contact with was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The location was awesome and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

Our stay at Loggerhead #252 was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, well maintained and so clean. Our only complaint was our arthritic backs every morning after sleeping on the soft King mattress. It really needs replaced. We need a firm mattress. We’d stay there again if it weren’t for our achey backs.

Great place and location. Beach is just few steps away. I would recommend to either bring or rent bikes for the whole stay - biking is the best way to explore the island, plus will save you lots of money for parking at the beaches (5$/h).

There are many good things to say about this property. While much work has been done updating the interior of the condo, the lanai needs some attention. The furniture is in pretty bad shape and the fan squeaks so loudly that you can't actually have it on while sitting out there.

Loggerhead was a great place, and this condo was amazing. Clean, comfortable and close to the beach! Had everything we needed, was neatly decorated, and made our vacation perfect. Clean grills to cook out on and plenty of seats by the pool.

We were greeted at SBL office with Keys and storage shed keys with beach supplies. Found property without difficulty. Got to property and took elevator up to our room. Property was clean and no pesky bugs found. Lanai was perfect for looking over my shells. Excellent shelling on property. Did try three other beaches with good results. Shelling is wonderful. Owner directions were excellent. Had one incident where elevator needed maintenance, but they had it fixed within 2 hours. Couches and chairs were very comfortable. Bed was very cozy and sleeping was quiet and wonderful. Beautiful landscaping outside our condo. Very close to the pool. Barbecue pits available if tired of eating huge Gulf Shrimp. Temps in low 80's and sunny. No problems with bugs except some love-bugs. No jelly-fish seen. Weather was rain free and perfect.

This condo is very clean and well maintained. It also comes nicely equipped with kitchen supplies and beach gear. The facility has rules about noise levels in the evening, which we really appreciated because it's not a loud party environment. Our group included 2 teenagers, and we all had a very good time watching movies late at night and laughing it up together. I say this because I think a reasonable level of noise is no problem at all, and we really didn't hear anything coming from the condos on either side of us. Very Family Friendly and Relaxing. Enjoy!

The condo was very nice. The location was great. The only negative was that I felt like I was staying at a retirement home instead of a vacation condo. My daughter, niece and myself (all grown adults) sat out on our screened in porch one evening and was playing a game, talking and laughing and the security guard yelled at us and told us we had to be quiet that there was a noise ordinance. It was 8:50 pm!!! I think that was a little ridiculous. It would have been different if we were blaring music or it was late but 8:50??
