Loggerhead Cay 242

Overall we had wonderful stay as expected and as announced.
The property is brilliant maintained, safe and The condo itself is nice, need and clean and lovely furnished. The neighbours are adorable and friendly.
A few minor things however have anoid us as it took away some of the indulgence and comfort that we usually found in other locations throughout the 30 recent years.

The most critics is about the king mattress in the masterbedroom, it needs urgently to be replaced. It is old and "through" and doesn't give a relaxing and healthy sleep at night.

Although we love the olde sanibel charme, here it is a bit too much of it here and there, in particular the conditions of the paintwork. In the side bathroom and master bathroom i'ts cracked and inproffesional excecuted.
This is also for the build in cabinets in the bathrooms, in particular in the side bathroom

The patio has no sun protection, so it is barly not usable between morning and early middayhours unless you are searching full sun and strong heat for breakfast. The ventilator is giving barly relief.
The patio furnishing is very impractical as the highchairs and the hightables are far too big for the given space, the provided sunbeds making limited space even more the available. Luckily we are older but sporty people and we could deal with it in a way, but it is hard to envision how handicaped or people with limited mobility will be able use these furniture.

Finally I want to mention the kitchen fit out.
The silverware and the drinking glasses as well as the dishes are very poor and don't fit at all to the general approach nice and tastefull furnished condo. It's a wild mix of everthing, only a few Plastic paltes are provided, Cheap silverware, the random assembled drinking glasses

Having all this mentioned advices I would say that you shouldn't get me wrong, the condo is nice and it is a pleasure to stay there and worth to spend your vacation her

We were happy to be back on Sanibel after 2 years. It was our first time at Loggerhead Cay. The apartment and the facilities were very nice and as can be seen in the description and in the pictures.

The condo was better than described. It is very close to the beach and pool and in a great location for shopping and restaurants.
