Loggerhead Cay #403

My wife and I spent a quiet week together at this beautiful condo. Skeptical at first as the pictures looked a too good to be true, but everything was exactly as pictured (better). The unit was clean, completely updated, had everything we needed, and comfortable. By Day 2, we decided we'd be coming back to this very unit again. The location is outstanding and less than 10 minutes from just about everything (except Captiva, which is about 25 min away). The beach is a 2 minute walk past the pool and there's a closet full of everything you could need (we even left some nice shelling nets for the next guest!) Management company was outstanding to deal with. We had no problems at all, but Anne reached out to us a few times just to check in and make sure things were going well. The communication and process was seamless. We'll definitely be returning and using this company again.

I honestly couldn't recommend this unit or the management company more. A+

Overall this was a great place to stay. The only issue we had was our dishwasher was broken and they were waiting for a new one. Unfortunately it never arrived the week we were there. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t any condiments and water stocked in the fridge. I am used to staying at Airbnb’s where that’s provided for you. Everything was clean the place was nice and the people were friendly.

As for the condiments and water, that is not something vacation rental companies stock in every property as that would be such a huge expense that we would incur for EVERY guest! We used to stock the basic condiments but did away with them when covid started to try and alleviate any contact-to-contact between guests. We hope to see you again in the future!

There were 4 of us who wanted to get away from winter’s cold and came to Loggerhead Cay unit 403 on Sanibel. We found the unit well decorated and stocked. It is located close to the causeway and Periwinkle Drive yet is quite and gave a secluded feel. Right out of the unit you can walk the shell loaded beach or enjoy the pool area of the complex. The ample sized screened-in balcony area had seating for four to enjoy and relax. The staff was very helpful when we contacted them by phone or email. The app along with magazines provided in the unit gave us excellent guidance and tips on local restaurants, shopping and activities. I would strongly recommend taking in a performance at the Big Arts complex. The easiest way to say we all enjoyed our stay at this unit is to say we plan to return to this unit next year.

We have rented this unit before, so you know it is okay. However, as we age we find all the beds could use better mattresses and all the covers could be cleaner (not the sheets), the duvet covers and quilts. There is no way for us to wash them in the tiny but otherwise adequate washer/dryer. Also, we could use one comfortable chair with leg lift for our disabled person. We use folding chairs to supplement. Kitchen needs better knives and small wine glasses. TY is barely adequate. Our kids units had better equipment.

The condo was clean, up to date and equipped with everything you could ever need. Stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella. The resort has a beautiful courtyard that we walked daily and a nice walk to the pool and beach. We ate breakfast and lunch on the lanai daily. We enjoy going out to dinner at new places, so we tried tipsy turtle, island cow, doc fords, bubble room, mucky duck and mudbugs. All had great food and were a short drive from the condo. If you are looking for nightlife, this is not the place. Most places close at 9. If your looking for a super relaxing vacation, stress free and beautiful beach filled with seashells, I recommend 110%. I have no complaints.

What a great place to shed the COVID stress! Updated, well maintained, and impeccably clean. Steps away from the pool, and a few more steps and you've got your toes in the Gulf! Pretty awesome location just minutes bike ride away (actually faster than by car) from all kinds of restaurants 5 min bike ride to the marina, cruised on the Sanibel Thriller around the island, lunch overlooking the yachts, bike ride back to the condo to relax on the lanai! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was high quality, like the beach chairs, towels, etc. Didn't really need to bring anything. Not only are we recommending it to friends and family, but we'll be back!

The rental was clean and well stocked. The contactless check in and check out was flawless. Communication with SBL vacations was smooth through the whole process.

My only concern would be for the building, not our condo specifically - when it rains, it gets VERY slick in the corridors. We had 3 different instances of people in our family of 4 falling because it was so slick. Be careful!

Great location, nicely updated corner condominium with a nice, large pool. Easy walk to the beach! We rented bikes for the week from Sanibel vacations and they were delivered to the condo ( highly recommend). We had a fantastic week!!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is very good, near the Causeway, so some traffic issues are avoided. The property is well maintained and quiet. The property manager responded swiftly to our requests for a few items.

The unit was recently renovated and in great condition. The grounds and pool are immaculately maintained. Pool temperature was ideal. This unit worked OK for six people (three generations), but was a little cozy at times. For four people it would be ideal.

We were very pleased. This was our 2nd year in this nicely updated Condo and recommend it and SBL for their assistance. We are pretty particular about the quality of rentals we choose. 403 met all expectations. It was a nice community with beautiful pool, easy direct beach access, tennis courts and WORKING grills!
SBL delivered brand new bikes right to our door and offered easy check in and check out. Very happy with this rental.

Our rental experience was easy, quick and convenient. We reserved this unit on-line which was very convenient. I choose this unit because of the way it was decorated. We usually prefer a ocean front unit, but because of the way it was decorated we decided to rent this unit. When we arrived on Sanibel Island we went to the property management office to pick up the key and other rental information. At that time, we were able to rent bikes for the week. The bikes were delivered to our unit which was extremely convenient. On our second day, I noticed the unit did not have a hair dryer (the unit was supposed to have one). I called the property management company and they delivered one to me within 15 minutes. WOW now that is service.

The only item that was a bit inconvenient was the fact that the condo below us was getting work done in it and there was a lot of hammering and banging.

We loved Sanibel Island the fact that we could ride our bikes everywhere, which we did!!

Our time in Loggerhead Cay was absolutely amazing. The property was wonderfully appointed with any kitchen item you may want. The living area is comfortable for everyone in our group and the Master bedroom was large and comfortable; the second bedroom was warm and could use an overhead fan to circulate the cool air.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and the time spent there was wonderful!

This property is fantastic! Newly renovated, it is clean and comfortable and feels like you're in your own home. Booking, check in and check out were a breeze and the rental agency was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The condo complex is quiet and provides easy access to the beach. The unit was equipped with all the necessities and was in an ideal location to enjoy the beach, pool, or relaxing on the lanai. We will definitely be back!

Spring Break trip with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The place worked great, bed 2 and bath can be closed off to be separate suite and master bed is huge with great natural light. Furnishings are tastefully done and new which gives you a good clean feeling. Access to beach, pool and gas grills is great so really no complaints.
