It was recently remodeled with a beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen. The rooms are tastefully furnished and comfortable. All the electronics--A/C, ceiling fans, TVs, WiFi--work great. A bonus is the full-size washer and dryer! There is a peek-a-boo view of the Gulf. The location is excellent, with the beach out front and Periwinkle Way's shops and restaurants a short drive or bike ride away. The Surfside complex is well maintained with a nice pool, tennis court, shuffle board and covered grills. The condo is stocked with everything from cooking utensils to beach towels. We found beach chairs in the cabana in front of Building 1 but no beach umbrella. We called Rob, with the property management company, and he had one delivered in less than 30 minutes. There was a framed sheet in the condo indicating that we had access to beach chairs in the cabana which i believe was #13 in Sanibel Surfside 1? However there was no key to access the cabana and the room key did not fit. Additionally, the room key worked fine on the deadbolt on the door, but there was an issue with the key to the door handle. You had to play with the handle to unlock the door. We ended up just using the deadbolt when we left the room. Overall we had a great stay and plan to return next year. - Anonymous Posted on 7/9/2013
